Todos tendemos, en mayor o menor medida, a establecer categorías (nacionales-extranjeros, hombres-mujeres, familiares-extraños) para distinguirnos unos de otros, con resultados a veces del todo desafortunados por no decir trágicos, pero también admirables (muchos comportamientos altruistas tienen su base en esas distinciones: ¿cuantos sacrificios no se han hecho por la patria o grupo étnico o, más comúnmente, por la familia a la que uno pertenece?).
Tengo que reconocer que el tema me apasiona y que pienso dedicarle unos cuantos posts. Pero, por el momento, me limitaré a enlazar con este post que aparece en el blog BPS y que pone de manifiesto que el grado de comprensión que podemos mostrar hacia nuestros semejantes depende notablemente de nuestra predisposición a entenderlos, de nuestra actitud en definitiva.
